Sarah PiccoloBorn and raised in Carson City, NV, Sarah moved to Sebastopol in 2003 to work as a private chef and to follow her culinary passions in one of the most beautiful spots in California. A 1999 graduate of Colorado State University with a BA in Restaurant and Resort Management and a minor in French, she has traveled and worked in both Italy and France, receiving a certificate from the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners in Costiglioli D'Asti Italy in 2001.
Her life's work has been inspired by her European family and her mentor, grandfather Chef Raymond Capitain of the famed Ernies restaurant in San Francisco in the 1950s. After studying in Piedmont, she staged for 4 months in Italy for Michelin Star Chef Marc Lanteri and again for one summer at La Petite Maison in Luberon France. Sarah started the Fork food truck in 2010 and by 2015 had opened Fork Roadhouse. The truck can still be found at events such as Peacetown and the Kate Wolf Festival, but is now mostly used for catering weddings and other parties around Sonoma County. Sarah can be found spending time with her amazing daughter Simone, travelling, and gardening as much as she can! |
